To change the user code on your Schlage lock, follow these steps:
- Locate Your Programming Code: This 6-digit code is essential for making changes to your lock. It’s typically found on the back of the lock or in the user manual.
- Enter Programming Mode:
- Press the Schlage button.
- Enter your 6-digit programming code. The Schlage button will flash and beep three times, indicating you’re in programming mode.
- Add a New User Code:
- Press the Schlage button again.
- Press the number 1.
- Enter your desired new 4-digit user code.
- Re-enter the same 4-digit code to confirm.
